Westminster Bridge

Westminster Bridge

Immortalised by Wordsworth

A Poetic Crossing

Westminster Bridge offers one of the most iconic views in London. Standing on the bridge, you can see Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and the London Eye. The current bridge, painted the same green as the seats in the House of Commons, was completed in 1862.

The earlier bridge inspired William Wordsworth's famous sonnet "Composed upon Westminster Bridge, September 3, 1802."
